Unique approach to work with colour in any creative process.
Why is red perceived sometimes as exciting and sometimes as aggressive? When working with colour it is not enough to consider a perceived impact of an individual colour: "...dark blue means..." It is the combination of colour that creates the final effect or impression.
Your space, your product, or your company have all unique characteristics which could be expressed (captured) by a particular colour combination.
Colours in the interior where we live or work have the same impact on us as have the colours in natural world. The nature communicates with colour - plants, animals, humans. In our everyday life it is easy to underestimate power of our primitive instincts that have had influence in our lives for ages. Selecting colour combinations with a specific goal in mind and their appropriate co-ordination could have positive effect on person's/peoples's understanding of a message that is being communicated.
80% reactions on colour is subconscious.
Research has shown that 80% of human reaction to a colour is not influenced by culture, age or gender and therefore is easily predictable.
Perception of colour is very similar for every person - it comes from nature.
This natural order helps us to, for example, understand what yellow and black colouring means on some animals and insects. Our reactions on what we see are further influenced by our personal experiences, temperament etc. More in Theory of Colours.
